Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but even more so when you’re expecting. These muffins are packed with nutrients to nourish you and your baby, and they also contain the fibre you need to maintain intestinal comfort.
- 8 large bananas
- 3 egg whites
- 240 grams wheat flour
- 140 grams oat bran
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 180 grams oatmeal/porridge oats
- 120 ml skim milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 165 grams raisins
- In a large bowl, mash bananas and egg whites together. Mix in remaining ingredients.
- Spray a large muffin tin with cooking spray. Pour in batter.
- Bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes.
